State Swimming Championships

Success for Jake Ridley

Many congratulations to our Year 7 SEAL student, Jake Ridley, who recently competed in both the Victorian State Sprint Championships and the Tasmanian State Swimming Championships. Jake performed exceptionally well across the board and also took home the title of Victorian Butterfly Sprint Champion for the second year running. Jake's individual race results are below.

The Victorian State Swimming Championships

This is the first of three major Swimming Victoria State competitions for the year. The Sprint Championships are only for events 50 metres in length. In the 12 Year Old age group Jake achieved the following results:

1st : 50m Butterfly

2nd: 50m Backstroke

3rd: 50m Freestyle

8th: 50m Breaststroke

400 IM: 1st 12yo

100 Freestyle: 1st 12yo

200 Butterfly: 1st 12yo

200 IM : 1st 12yo

200 Freestyle: 1st 12yo

100 Butterfly: 1st 12yo
