Primary Diocesan Swimming

On Thursday 24 February, our St Philomena's swimming team travelled to Gunnedah to compete at the Primary Diocesan Swimming Carnival. These students did a phenomenal job swimming against students from various schools around the Diocese. We were up against some tough competition; however, all of our swimmers did a fantastic job showing off their swimming talents in the pool. Well done!

Congratulations to the following swimmers who were outstanding in the pool: Zach Hobday (50m freestyle and 50m breastroke), Matilda Kilner (50m backstroke), Katelyn Scholl (50m breastroke) and Alice Turner (50m butterfly). These students have qualified to attend the NSWCPS Swimming Championships in Sydney on Tuesday 22 March. St Philomena's wishes you all the best, good luck!

Secondary Diocesan Swimming

On Wednesday 2 March, Sophie Lai and Stella Karam travelled to Gunnedah to compete at the Secondary Diocesan Swimming Carnival. The girls swam against students from various Secondary schools around the Diocese. Well done, Sophie and Stella!
