In 1998, Candice Mutton Mutton-student 1998-1999 took part in the Re-Imagining Your Neighbourhood Program.

A group of 80 students were involved in the program for 5 months during that year. The program was set up to help students imagine and explore the possibilities of improving their neighbourhood.

Marian College students contributed to a large mosaic outside the Sunshine Railway Station.
