Principal's Message

Welcome to our Prac Students

I would like to welcome prac students from ACU and ND to Galilee. These students are completing time in our school as part of their professional learning to become teachers, Sian in Kindergarten and Year 1 and Imogen in Stage 3. We see this relationship with the Universities as very positive for our school to support the development of future teachers.

After School Departure “Thank you” 

Thank you very much to Galilee families for your great co-operation with our staggered afternoon departure arrangements that have now commenced.

Just a reminder that we are asking “older siblings” to leave school at the same time and “point of departure” (Blair Street or Oakley Road) as the youngest sibling in order to have “family groups” together. 

2021 NAPLAN Results for Galilee – Congratulations to Year 3 and 5 students on excellent test scores

In the midst of the recent Greater Sydney lockdown and then the return to face-to-face teaching arrangements we received our 2021 NAPLAN test results for Year 3 and Year 5 classes. 

Please see the table below which highlights the overall excellent results for our students in comparison to NSW State scores and the National scores.

Our Year 3 and 5 students can be very proud of their achievement levels and the results are particularly pleasing as this is the very first year our students completed NAPLAN in the “online” testing environment! Super well done!
