2021 Junior School Annual Swimming Carnival

Tuesday 2 February saw the Junior School head to Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre for the annual Junior School Swimming Carnival. With some wild weather the night before and clouds looming on the morning of the carnival, the day had a chance of cancellation. As the busloads of students arrived at the carnival, so did the sun.

There were many close races and outstanding performances by our students. The standout feature of the day, however, was not in the pool. The students supporting each other, whether in the same House or not, was truly noteworthy. This provided a great atmosphere all day long and was an example of St Gregory’s College community spirit.

A huge thank you to Mrs Alison Buckley and our parent helpers that assisted with the running of the carnival.

There were many outstanding performances on the day and congratulations are extended to the following students who were crowned age champions.
