Duke of Edinburgh
I would like to officially welcome Eran L to Gold level. For his Gold service he is assisting me with all things Duke of Edinburgh. He has been amazing with his efforts to get some of the 2020 cohort to complete their Adventurous Journey write ups.
To all the Duke of Edinburgh students – thank you for the work you are doing. It is amazing to hear how active you all are.
- Year 11 Silver are finishing their logging of hours and looking at a Virtual Adventurous journey in the holidays. This would enable most of the Year 11 Silver students to complete their award. If you would like to start your Gold award, please let me know via email.
- Year 10 Bronze are finishing their Adventurous Journey reports and logging hours. 15 students have advanced on to their Silver. Remember to email me if you are wanting to register for Silver.
- Year 9 Bronze are amazing. They are logging hours for skills and Physical Activity, while completing online voluntary work.
The Adventurous Journey (camp) is currently booked for November, for those 2021 Bronze and 2020 Silver students. Details will be sent next term, fingers crossed that we will be able to go ahead with this at Somerset.
