Week 4 Term 3

Last Friday, we gathered as a Catholic learning community to acknowledge, honour and celebrate our grandparents. The morning was filled with joy, laughter and excitement as the students proudly shared their learning with their grandparents. The event was a wonderful experience for the entire community.

First, we gathered as a Catholic learning community to celebrate mass with our grandparents and then the children spent the morning working with their grandparents in their learning spaces.

The morning was beautiful with many in attendance. It was so lovely to meet all the grandparents. The children were so proud and excited to have the opportunity to share their morning with their grandparents.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, especially the families and the Parents and Friends Committee who provided us with delicious morning tea.

100 Days of Foundation

What an amazing milestone that our Foundation students are reaching this Tuesday. Congratulations on making it to 100 days of school. We are very proud of your progress and achievement so far this year. Enjoy all the fun 100-day activities that Ms Wenckowski and Ms Alex have planned for you.  We can’t wait to see you all dressed up as 100-year-olds.

Year Six Confirmation

Thank you to all the Year Six parents that attended our Confirmation Family Faith Workshop last week. Maria Forde’s presentation highlighted the significant role of the Holy Spirit and its gifts. She discussed the importance of living a life of service to God and the significance of the gifts of the spirit being alive in each one of us. The Year Six students will continue to learn about Confirmation this week with Bishop Terry Curtin on Wednesday morning and then with Ms Gasbarro and their teachers on their Confirmation retreat day on Thursday. The Year Six students will celebrate their confirmation on Sunday, 13th August at St. Fidelis Church.

The choir is back!

Great news, Choir is back this Friday!

If your child will like to attend, Caleb from Experience Music is leading the Choir Fridays at lunchtime.

Have a wonderful week,

Vira Pirrotta
