Dear Families

A Christmas Blessing

May love come alive within your heart as Christmas draws near. May hope fill each room you decorate and bring joy to those you hold dear. May peace be before you at every meal and faith ring through every song. For Christ is alive, the light of the world may he bless you all season long.

Amen

Some key updates:

New Enterprise Agreement

I wish to advise that during the past year The CECV (Catholic Education Commission of Victoria ltd) has been working towards a new enterprise agreement that looks at significant improvements to help support teacher workload. Significant progress has been made with the IEU (Independent Education Union) in securing an agreement on unresolved items. Schools have been informed that information about the proposed agreement will be provided in the new year. This will be very helpful to assist us in our organisational matters.

This new agreement will have some impact on schools. As stated above it looks at teacher workload and conditions, this means such things as non-teaching time, duties, after hour meetings, administration tasks, school camps and other events that occur in schools such as information nights, masses, community events.

A heads up there will more than likely be a slight adjustment to our school start time/finish time. This will be finalised as soon as we have further information.
