Refugee Week 2020

Refugee Week
Refugee Week

The theme of Refugee Week in 2020 is the Year of Welcome. Welcome is about generosity, opening our arms and our houses to friends and strangers, feeding the hungry and avoiding the temptation to shut the door.

Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart is about celebrating the goodness, kindness and compassion that were at the heart of Jesus’ ministry.

We are reminded of the unimaginable love of Jesus poured out for us and that love is at the heart of everything we do.

Indeed, we are called to proclaim the love of God to all we meet, in word and deed – we are called to be God’s love in the world.

REMEMBERING GENEROSITY: Please donate non-perishable food items and warm clothing to celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will be helping overseas students in need living in Preston. A BIG THANK YOU to families that have already donated.
