Chess Tournament

Congratulations to the team of students who participated in Wednesday’s Chess Tournament at Balwyn North Primary School.  In a very close, exciting competition with students from eleven schools, after seven rounds of chess Mount View finished up coming third behind Balwyn North and Glendal who tied for first, and St. Andrews who pipped our team by half a point.

Well done to the entire team who supported each other throughout the competition, win, lose or draw. At the completion of the tournament ten of our sixteen students received bronze medals for their efforts.  Once again the students were fine ambassadors for our school.
