On Wednesday 4 May, 10 students from Year 7 and Year 8 took part in the first NIAS Indigenous Talent Identification Day at Longmuir fields with many other schools from the region. 

The day started with an Acknowledgment to Country, Smoking Ceremony and local dance group. The students were then allocated groups and were rotated through organised activities; Netball, Fitness assessments and Rugby League.

St George Rugby League Legend Nathan Blacklock was also there to encourage the students. A great day was had by all.
