Art Show

You are Invited

A reminder to our whole school community that next week is our Whole School Visual Art Show. The student’s art will be available for viewing on Wednesday 4th September from 3:45- 5:00pm and on Thursday 5th September following the opening of our refurbished school oval, from 5:30-7:30pm. The student’s art will be displayed in the School Hall and also in the Year 1 and 2 open Learning Space. This year we have also invited students from some of our surrounding kindergartens to display their artwork in our show. Our SFX students will be displaying many different pieces that showcase skills they have developed and different mediums that have used during art lessons this year. 

Class Auction Pieces

Once again each class will be presenting a piece of artwork, which has been created by all members of the class. These special artworks will be available for families to purchase through a live auction. This auction will be held on our Gala evening on Thursday 5th September. The auction will begin at 6:30pm in the Year 1 and 2 Learning Space, where class pieces will be auctioned off one at a time. Please be there by 6:25pm ready for the auction to start, so that you don’t miss out on bidding on a class piece that you are interested in. The order for the pieces to be auctioned will be determined by a class name being pulled out of a hat. The money raised through auctioning off the fourteen pieces of artwork will be put towards purchasing resources for our students in the area of the Arts. 

Our students are very excited about showcasing their work and cannot wait to have you all visit. We especially look forward to seeing you on Thursday 5th September at 6:30pm for the auctioning of the class individual pieces.
