Welcome Back
This week we welcomed Kindergarten, Years 1 and 2 and Years 5 and 6 back to school. The students and the teachers have seamlessly slipped back into their daily routines with the inclusion of masks, extra hand washing and lots of disinfectant. We are looking forward to Years 3 and 4 joining us all next week when at last, things will return to almost normal.
I would like to very quickly thank everyone in our community for enduring what seemed like an eternal lockdown. It was annoying, difficult and a little boring but now it's over we can all look forward to the coming weeks of Term 4. and the beautiful Spring weather.
We have a few events planned this term, with dates to be advised, as more information regarding Covid-19 restrictions become available. Year one will be visiting the Australian Mint as part of the Mathematics Curriculum. We will be holding a dinner to farewell our year 6 students :( and our new Kindergarten students will visit the school for a picnic, games and to meet their teachers. Our Taqwa Genius competition will go ahead towards the end of the year and you will receive your child's Academic Report late in November. We have unfortunately had to postpone our annual school camp, but hope that it will still go ahead early in the coming year.
Below I have included some links regarding Covid-19 updates, that may be helpful if you speak a language other than English.
Thanks for reading,
Ms Ama
