FARM

Welcome back to Term 2, hopefully everybody has enjoyed a great break and are keen to continue where we left off in Term 1.

Staffing

On the staffing front, it is great to welcome back Mr Matt Olde to our Horticulture section. Matt has enjoyed his extended period of long service leave and will be working in the Parks and Gardens area of the College.  With that, I would like to thank Ms Tessa Ferraro and Ms Val Webb for their efforts in Matt’s absence, they did a fantastic job in the College gardens helping Mr Cruickshank.

Mr Falkingham is heading off on some long service leave in Term 2 and Mr Michael Campion will be coming on board to help Ms Bronte Holmes in the Dairy.

Around the Farm

Our pasture reseeding programme will be one of our main focuses in the early part of this term, as a timely 12mm of rain was well received on Monday.

I would like to remind students that with winter on its way to please make sure they have their wet weather gear with them on Farm and to also bring their Tradie bag and PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs and gloves).

Congratulations Sam Cox

It was great to see Samantha Cox win the National Young Judges Competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year.  Well done Sam.
