Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships

The Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships is back on again in August this year. It's a really fun event with the kids marching in an opening ceremony and racing on some pretty easy courses. Make play part of your routine

Children need routine and structure as much as they need free time and play.

While social distancing rules are in place, children are unable to play with their friends in the way that they are used to. This makes play time at home especially important.

Routines are an important source of safety and stability for children. While things are probably different for your family right now, it is especially important to schedule regular times to play together.

Share a story together

Stories offer children a way to make sense and meaning of what is happening to them, through the safety of a fictional character they can identify with. They have a clear beginning, middle and end, and can help children to talk about otherwise difficult emotions and feelings. Telling and re-telling stories can help children to find resolutions for their own experiences.

Jess Staines is the director of the Koori Curriculum . She does some fabulous you tube videos of Storytime. These teach younger students about indigenous culture.

2022 Enrolments

New families, or families of current students with siblings, intending to enrol a new student at our school for next year are encouraged to enrol now! It is only by knowing our student numbers now are we able to staff the school effectively. We are already workforce planning for next year so please make your enrolment count and contact the school office as soon as possible. This applies to new students only.

QR Codes and Face Masks

A reminder that all adults, including staff, on entering school grounds must check in using the QR codes. Face Masks must be worn on school property.

It is as uncomfortable to remind someone to follow the rules as it is to be reminded so please let's all avoid this feeling by doing the right thing in the first place.

Year 6 Canberra Camp

Canberra Camp has been rescheduled for the week beginning the 4th of October 2021.

School Events - Trivia Night and the Disco

Dont worry, we are looking for a new date for the disco and the Trivia Night is still planned to go ahead on the 14th August.

PFA is looking for two parents to share the PFA Coordinator role in 2022
