From the Principal
December 4, 2025
The coming weeks bring excitement as we celebrate Year 6 leadership, present awards, and share 2026 class placements. With change comes mixed emotions; some children may feel disappointed or anxious, and that’s natural.
Our response matters most: by modelling optimism, resilience, and calm, we help students see setbacks as part of growth and give them confidence to face challenges.
Let’s celebrate achievements, support struggles, and continue building a community where every child feels valued and inspired.
Monday, December 8 – 9:00 am
Join us as we thank our current Year 6 leaders and welcome the new 2026 leaders.
Awards presented:
Yr 4 Mrs Daniel’s Literacy Award
Yr 4 Pettet Foundation Citizenship Award
Yr 4 Science Award
Yr 3 Lion’s Environmental Citizen Award
Our school choir will perform, making the day extra special. Parents are warmly invited to celebrate leadership, achievement, and community with us.
Next Tuesday morning, students will take part in a POPS transition session, meeting their new teacher and classmates.
Our 2026 classes have been thoughtfully designed with teachers to balance academic, social, and emotional needs. The class structure will be shared in next week's newsletter.
Wednesday December 10, 3:30 – 4:00 pm
We warmly invite parents, carers, and grandparents to join us for a special afternoon tea. This gathering is our staff’s way of saying thank you for the incredible support you provide to our school and the many events throughout the year. We are truly grateful for our caring community and all that you do to help our students thrive.
Warm Regards,
Ms Garrity
