JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM  

The Junior Ranger Program ended with a bang. Both, students and staff were treated to a magic Welcome to Country and wetland walk with Josh West, a delicious lunch, catered by Nairm Marr Djambana and powerful songs, performed in language by Yolngu man Yirrmal. Our very own Adelaide Grigor chose to sing as well - what an enchanting voice this young artist has! Students all were presented with a Ngawak Biik certificate by Indigenous park ranger Carissa Watts.

What a successful program this was with participating students not only connecting to First Nations' students from other schools but also elders and other key First Nations' people which have become role models to many of the students and forming lasting friendships.
