From Mr Chaplin

As we move further into the term, it has been wonderful to see our classrooms buzzing with purposeful, focused learning. Across the school, staff have worked hard to establish calm, consistent and engaging learning environments where every student knows what success looks like and feels supported to achieve it. I have been particularly impressed with the positive start made by our Foundation students. They have settled beautifully into school life, learning new routines, building friendships and showing great curiosity and resilience. A special thank you to our Year 6 buddies, who have shown outstanding leadership and care, helping our youngest learners feel safe, confident and connected from day one.
A reminder to families about our before and after-school expectations. For safety reasons, bikes and scooters must not be ridden in the playground at any time. Students are required to walk them once they enter the school grounds. Dogs are not permitted on site unless they are registered assistance animals. If your child arrives late or needs to be collected early, please ensure they are signed in or out at the office. When recording attendance on Compass, you will be prompted to provide a reason. If you are unsure which category to select, please choose “Parent Choice School Unapproved.” This indicates that the reason for the late arrival or early departure was not pre-arranged and was due to unforeseen circumstances.
