Dear St Martha’s Families,

Thanks a lot for your constant, great support. It was wonderful to receive so many prayer intentions for yesterday's decade of the Rosary, thank you! They were all such thoughtful and caring intentions.

It has been truly beautiful to pray the Rosary with Parents, carers and Grandparents on Mondays and Thursdays at 2:35pm on the school playground, and to pray it with families on Zoom last week on Wednesday night, and with the whole school and One Million Children from all over the world yesterday during Assembly https://aidtochurch.org/one-million-children.

Oremus: Foundations in Prayer Day Retreat

The Parish Renewal Team, within the Sydney Centre for Evangelisation, warmly invites you to join us for the Oremus Day Retreat, which we are hosting at their lovely new premises and chapel.

This retreat will be an opportunity to deepen our relationship with Christ, taking a moment to pause and renew our prayer life and grow in confidence to pray with others. The day will include talks, Mass, confession, adoration and more! Details are as follows:

Pilgrimage to Mary MacKillop Place - Postponed

Due to a change in the schedule of Mary MacKillop’s Place (a religious order is now staying at Mary MacKillop’s Place from 6th to 10th November so the Mary MacKillop’s Museum and the Chapel will not be accessible during that week), our Parents, Carers & Grandparents’ Day Pilgrimage to Mary MacKillop Place in North Sydney has been postponed to Wednesday 22 November 2023.

We will leave from St Martha’s after school drop-off, and we’ll be back to St Martha’s in time for pick-up.

Women’s Morning with Matt Fradd

Catholic Women’s Network presents Matt Fradd LIVE!

A special women’s event on Wednesday, 6 December, at Novotel, Sydney Olympic Park from 9:30am – 12:30pm. The morning event will include brunch, fellowship, and a presentation on the Blessed Mother by Matt Fradd with Q&A and meet and greet.

Love & Responsibility Immersion Course

In partnership with the Sydney Centre for Evangelisation and the Theology of the Body Institute, the Archdiocese of Sydney is proud to announce that they will be hosting a 5-day immersion course with Dr. Christopher West on the Theology of the Body with a special focus on St John-Paul’s classic work “Love & Responsibility”.

Date: 21-26 January 2024

Location: Mt Carmel Retreat Centre, Varroville

Cost: $1,900 AUD. Partial subsidies available for approved students.
