Learning Update

From Ms Lehre P-2

We’ve had a fantastic start to Week 1 of Term 2! In Literacy, P-2 students have been exploring the “ar” sound as in star, car, and park, while also revising their understanding of verbs. 

In Maths, we’ve been focusing on patterns—both repeating and growing—and students have done a wonderful job creating their own patterns. 

In Auslan, we completed an assessment of last term’s learning, and the students did an outstanding job. Ms Lehre has put the challenge out to Mr Collins' class so let's see who scores higher - big kids or little kids! 

I recently attended a meeting with our Resilience Project School Partnership Manager Annabelle, who was incredibly impressed with how well Raywood has embraced and embedded the program into daily practice. We’re excited to continue building on this momentum and encourage parents to stay tuned for access to the upcoming parent portal. You may also start to see some take-home activities and games coming home with your child, designed to support and reinforce the learning in a fun and engaging way.

Alongside all of this, our Cross Country event made for an exciting and energetic week. It’s been a great start to the term!
