From the Office

Welcome back everyone to the start of what I am sure will be a busy Term Two at Raywood Primary! Term Two (and Term 3) is always a great term for classroom learning as we often have less interruptions and students are already used to school routines and the way we do things.

A big thank you to Kai and Rylee's Dad Colby, for preparing our GaGa Pit area over the holidays. This is currently being put together by the Hands On Learning students from Rushworth P-12 and will arrive at school in a couple of weeks time.

Campaspe Cluster Cross Country - Earlier this week our students participated in Cross Country over in Elmore with their peers from across our cluster schools. It was wonderful to see our students complete well but we were most impressed with the way they supported each other and cared for each other across the day. Thank you to those families who came along to support their children and the school. In a few weeks time we will have some students head along to the District Cross Country in Echuca which is exciting as it's been a number of years since students from Raywood have placed highly enough to attend.

Active Schools Grant - This year our school has been lucky enough to receive a second $30,000 Active Schools Grant after the grant we received in 2024 which was used to install the asphalt track around our oval. We are still working towards a larger project to put these funds towards but in the meantime have purchased a sturdy soccer goal and some pedal go-karts for use on the track which have been a hit!

2027 Prep Enrolments - This term we will begin our transition process for Prep students joining us next year (I know - this feels like a long time away). Please pencil Tuesday 6th June 10am-11.30am and Tuesday 16th June 10am-11.30am for your child to come along to school for a short morning session, we are happy to be flexible with these days if they clash with Kinder.

Thanks Everyone,

James
