Congratulations to Elyse Swilks, who represented Rocky River School at the State Cross Country Championships on 22 July. The P&C was pleased to provide a $200 sporting contribution towards her travel costs. Well done, Elyse!
Thank you to everyone who supported our Pie Drive. Orders can be collected this Thursday 6th August between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Paper bags will be available, but we recommend bringing a cooler bag or sturdy shopping bags for transport. The Pie Drive has raised approximately $900 profit (final total to be confirmed), which will go towards the P&C's contribution to the Upper Division Great Aussie Bush Camp excursion.
Our 2026 NRL Grand Final Ticket Raffle opens this week! Thanks to the generous donation of 2 Grand Final tickets from Brendan Moylan MP and the NRL, we're raising funds for our new playground to be constructed after the school building project is complete. Tickets are available through RaffleLink via the link or QR code below with the raffle drawn at 2:00 pm on Friday, 4 September 2026.

We are holding a Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser at Armidale Bunnings on Saturday, 15 August (9:00 am–4:00 pm). If you can spare an hour or two to help at the stall, please let Stef or Ali know. Funds raised will also support the Upper Division excursion.
Our next P&C Meeting is Monday, 31 August at 5:00 pm at the school. We'll be planning our annual Thunderbolts Festival BBQ and cake stall for Saturday, 24 October. Everyone is welcome to attend.
