Heart, Grit, and Pure Passion: Our Regional Stars Leave It All on the Pitch!

What a season it has been for our  soccer team! This past week, our boys took to the pitch for some of the most intense matches of the year, showing everyone exactly what true dedication looks like.

From the very first whistle to the final seconds of stoppage time, the team gave absolutely everything they had. Every tackle was contested with fierce determination, every sprint down the wing was powered by pure heart, and the relentless communication across the field showed a squad playing as a united unit. Facing tough opposition, our players never backed down—they pushed through fatigue, threw themselves into defense, and kept attacking until the end.

While the final scoreboard only tells part of the story, the real victory was in the effort, resilience, and sportsmanship on display. Our regional team showed the kind of grit that inspires the entire community.

A massive thank you to Coach Wenczel, support staff, and dedicated fans who traveled to cheer from the sidelines—your energy was felt in every minute of play. Head high, team! We couldn't be prouder of the way you represented our school! 

Young Athletes Shine at Holy Cross Athletics Day 

Congratulations to all our Year 3–6 students who took part in last Tuesday's Athletics Day! It was fantastic to see so many competitors showing great determination, resilience, team spirit, and sportsmanship across every event.

A huge congratulations to the students who qualified to represent  Holy Cross at the upcoming District Athletics Carnival in a few weeks time . We wish you the very best of luck—we know you will do our school proud!
