The Little Chemists: World of Reactions!

Science Explorers in 1/2C!

Our 1/2C scientists have been diving into the fascinating world ofScience! Recently, we’ve been exploring reversible and irreversiblechanges and how different processes alter the composition ofingredients.To bring these concepts to life, the students took part in a fun,hands-on experiment combining Skittles and warm water. As the warm water dissolved the sugar coating and food dye, the students watched in awe as a vibrant, brilliant rainbow streamed across their plates! It was a fantastic way to observe dissolving in action and sparkwonderful classroom discussions about physical transformations. Besure to ask your young scientist all about what they discovered!
