A Place of Belonging

Happy Mother's Day to our boarding mums and carers. Our boarders send all their love on this special day.

It was wonderful to attend the Goondiwindi Aspects Art Show last Thursday evening and catch up with families on Friday evening with our Director of Senior School, Natasha Podoliak.

The most enjoyable highlight of marketing trips is connecting with Old Collegians, and current and past families. Thank you to the Warburton, Easton and Lillecrapp families and our Boarding Captains, Shelley and Sally, for joining us in Goondiwindi.

Rev’s Kelly Pool competition kicked off for the year last night with Year 12 Aitken Wing vying for the coveted prize of a box of Cadbury Favourites.  Our winer was Boarding Captain, Shelley. Year 12 Newman Wing will compete next Tuesday evening.

Boarding Events and Celebrations

Next week is National Boarding Week with this year’s theme being Echoes of Home which encapsulates the spirit of our Boarding House community. 

Celebrations commence on Sunday with an outing to the Sunshine Coast, and continue through to next Saturday with various events and activities each day.

Please join the Boarding Table booked for the upcoming Luminous Lunch on Friday 12 June which will be hosted by our Friends of Boarder Parents Co-ordinator, Hannah Madill, and me.

Boarder Marketing

Dr Cousins and I will be visiting current and enrolled families, and agents, in Japan and South Korea from Sunday 17 May to Sunday 24 May and will then attend the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) State Conference in Atherton from Tuesday 2 June to Friday 5 June.
