OUR FAITH

PRAYER
Loving God, as we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we thank you for walking with us as we journey together in faith. Fill our hearts with the promise of a hope-filled future, and guide our steps each and every day. May your light shine through us, helping us to share your love with everyone we meet. Strengthen us for the path ahead, inspire our minds to learn, and may your peace be with us always as we look forward to all you have in store for us. Amen
We pray ...
for all candidates preparing to make their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist this term.
TAMWORTH DEANERY MASS - CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
A significant highlight of the week was the Deanery Mass, held at St Nicholas Church on Tuesday. This Mass was a wonderful opportunity for us to gather with neighbouring schools in our Deanery to pray, sing, and celebrate our shared mission.
We were blessed by Bishop Peter Murphy and the Clergy, who led us in a beautiful Mass filled with prayer and deep reflection. Together, they reminded us of the importance of hope, kindness, and living out our faith each day. As we gathered, we celebrated the promise and potential of our young people—the very heart of our hope-filled future.
FAMILY MASS - YEAR 4
Our next Family Mass will be this Sunday, 31st May. We encourage everyone to attend. Year 4 will host and lead prayers. All St Nicholas families are welcome.

MARY: OUR MOTHER DIOCESAN ART COMPETITION
A heartfelt thank you to our students for participating in the 2026 Diocesan Art Competition, which centred around the beautiful theme, "Mary: Our Mother." The organisers and judges expressed that they were absolutely overwhelmed by the quality, devotion, and creativity displayed in the entries received this year. It was clear that all participating students spent significant time deeply reflecting on the life of Mary and her vital role in our faith.
We are incredibly proud to share that many of our St Nicholas students entered this prestigious competition, showcasing their immense talent and faith. Special congratulations go out to Georgia Woolaston and Nixon Keogh, who both placed in the competition!
