School Athletics Day

Our School Athletics Day is fast approaching. It is on Wednesday April 29th at Aberfeldie. The students have been very busy practising the tabloid sport events as well as track and field.

Below is a timetable for the day. A permission note will be sent out shortly. As it is our School Athletics Day, students can come dressed in their house team colours.

Time	Please note, all times are approximate.
9:00 am	Buses depart school for Aberfeldie Students arrive Prep to 2 students gather in house teams on the grass area and get ready for their sprints. Years 3 to 6 students get ready for field events.
9:30 am	Prep to 2 students compete in track events Prep to 2 students complete 50 m Years 3 to 6 students participate in field events
12:00pm	Prep to 2 students return to school Years 3 to 6 students compete in track events
2:30 pm	Years 3 to 6 students return to school
3:00 pm	If time allows, students will gather outside on the yard for the presentation of the winning house team. (if time is lacking this will take place on Thursday morning.)

We are also looking for parent volunteers who would like to assist with measuring field events, particularly for the Year 3 - 6 students. If you are able to help out, please email me at adurand@hrkensington.catholic.edu.au by Thursday April 2nd.
