Visual Arts 

Welcome back to the 2026 school year, and a very warm welcome to our Prep families who are at the beginning of the Primary School journey. I also extend a warm welcome to our new families joining us this year across other year levels. I am excited to be back in our creative space and looking forward to a fabulous year of creativity and fun! 

Our little artists have been busy these initial weeks of classes creating their Visual Arts folio front covers, establishing routines and becoming familiar with the STAR values and expectations in the room. Visual Art Folios are sent home at the end of every year. Students from Year Three to Year Six will also receive a Visual Arts sketchbook. 

2026 is an exciting year for the Arts as we work towards our biannual Art Show in early Term Four. The Art Show is a celebration of the arts and a magical evening for our school and local community.

Art Show - School Community Evening: Thursday 22nd October 

Art Show - Community Open Day: Saturday 24th October 

Our Year Six Art Captains look forward to announcing the Art Show theme to our school community shortly.
