Your Feedback Requested - Discussion on Quaker Testimonies

On Wednesday 12 August (Week 3, Term 3), our Quaker Gathering Advisor, Jess Dundas, and Quaker Advisor, Mark Macleod, will lead a discussion and share information about the Quaker testimonies: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Earthcare and Equality (sometimes simplified to “SPICEE”).

As part of the session, we would like to focus on one particular testimony and explore how it is expressed in daily life at Friends’ and in the wider world.

If you have a question, suggestion, or would like to learn more about a specific testimony, please complete this simple Google Feedback Form by Friday 26 June. Your feedback and interests will help shape the discussion in August.

Social Media Delay Consultation - Australian Parents Council

Parents/guardians are invited to participate in a focus-group style consultation on the recent Social Media Delay Policy.  The consultation session is intended to provide 8 to 15 parents with an opportunity to share their views, concerns and experiences regarding the social media delay laws and the broader impacts of social media on children and young people.

The sessions are being conducted by the Australian Parents Council (APC) on the Argyle St Campus at:

  • 5:30pm - 6:30pm Tuesday 7 July; and
  • 9am - 10am Wednesday 8 July

Light catering will be provided for each session.  Any feedback gathered would be de-identified and used to help inform APC advocacy and submissions to government regarding the implementation and impact of the legislation.

If you would like to participate and attend, please contact the President of the APC, Jenny Branch-Allen.
