Year 11 Pay it Forward Project
This term, Year 11 Religious Education students have been working in groups to develop projects centered on the theme of “Paying It Forward.”
Today, Friday 19th June, is our F–12 Pyjama Day to support the valuable work of St Vincent de Paul through the “Sock it to the Can” initiative.
Students and staff have been invited to wear their pyjamas to schooland bring along a donation of either a pair of new socks or canned food items. These donations will help provide warmth and essential supplies to people experiencing hardship during winter.
Pyjamas symbolise comfort, warmth and security during the cold winter months. While many of us enjoy these comforts every day, there are members of our community who face winter without adequate clothing or access to nutritious food.
We encourage everyone to get involved, embrace the spirit of giving, and help make a positive difference in the lives of others. Together, we can "Pay It Forward" and support members of our community who need it most.
Sock it to the Can
We are also asking students and families over the next few weeks, if they are able, to donate a can of food or a new pair of socks for our annual ‘Sock It To The Can’ campaign. We look forward to supporting our local St Vinnie’s in continuing to provide items and support for our families and people in need in our community.
We will be collecting items until the end of the first week of Term 3. Items can be left at the front office or brought to TA spaces.

Families are reminded a bus zone is in place in Tulloh Street from 8.00-9.00am and McCormick Road from 8.00-9.00am and 3.15-4.00pm on school days.
To allow bus drivers to perform their duties safely and for the safety of students and other road users, please follow all street signage in these zones.
Vehicles other than buses are not permitted to park or stop in bus zones to drop students off during the indicated bus zone times.
End of Semester Overdue Library Books
The end of Term 2 is fast approaching and we have a few long-term overdue books that we would love to come back to the library so others have a chance to borrow them.
Please speak to your children about any books they might have that need to find their way back to the Library. The holidays are a great chance to check under beds and car seats for missing books.

Led by Bishop Rene Ramirez RCJ, the Diocese of Sandhurst pilgrimage to World Youth Day Seoul 2027 offers participants the chance to deepen their faith, encounter the universal Church, and grow as intentional and missionary disciples alongside millions of young Catholics from around the world. The estimated cost is $6,000–$7,000 with CESL subsidies available.
Expressions of interest are now open. The Expression of interest is not a commitment to the Pilgrimage nor does it guarantee a place but it will assist with SYM and CESL planning and ensure all interested parties receive communication.
