As we begin Term Three, Glen Waverley Primary School extends a warm welcome to both new and returning families. The past semester has been filled with rich learning experiences, where students have continued to thrive through a wealth of academic and extracurricular opportunities. From incursions to interschool sports, students have displayed a strong sense of teamwork, resilience and camaraderie. These events have not only celebrated their achievements but also showcased their ability to collaborate and support each other.

Looking ahead, Term Three is shaping up to be an exciting and meaningful period for the Year Six cohort. This term, students will dive deeper into their novel studies, a breadth of mathematics units, and an inquiry unit focusing on geography and economics. This is further supplemented by our engaging Innovation program, where subjects such as Virtual Design, Film, and STEAM continue to be on offer, aiming to foster a love of learning while preparing students with the critical skills they need for the future.

One of the most anticipated highlights this term is Year Six Camp, which has started to generate an immense amount of excitement amongst the students. Throughout the term, families are encouraged to stay updated through Compass and reach out to their child’s classroom teacher with any questions or concerns.
