As the child is at the heart of all learning, we kindly ask that you bring your child along to the conference. Should a private conversation be needed, this can be arranged towards the end of the conference.

Medical Profiles

Earlier this week, I sent home a request asking all families to update the child's Medical Profile via the nForma Parent Portal.

Having accurate and up-to-date medical information for every student is essential to ensuring their safety and wellbeing while they are in our care.

When students attend excursions, camps, sporting events, and other activities off school grounds, teachers and staff rely on the information recorded in nForma. Teachers access the portal in these circumstances to quickly view the relevant medical information they need to support and care for your child. For this reason, it is vital that your child’s profile is current and complete at all times.

Please take the time to log in to the nForma Portal and carefully review your child’s information. Even if you have previously entered these details, we ask that you check that everything remains accurate and update anything that has changed.

Please ensure the following sections/tabs are completed and up to date:

  • Health Conditions

  • Severe Reactions

  • Medication

  • Emergency Contacts

  • Upload Medical Documents

  • Dietary Requirements

  • Phobias

  • Disabilities

  • Travel Sickness

  • Medicare Number

  • Ambulance Membership

  • Private Health Fund

Please also ensure that any relevant medical documentation, medication information, emergency contact details or other supporting information has been uploaded where required.

It is particularly important that the school is made aware of any new diagnosis, medical condition, allergy, severe reaction, medication, dietary requirement or other change in your child’s circumstances as soon as possible, rather than waiting until an excursion or event is approaching.

Having comprehensive, up-to-date information available through nForma allows teachers to make informed decisions and respond appropriately should a medical situation arise, particularly when supervising students away from school.

Thank you to all families who have already updated profiles.

If you are still yet to attend to this, please log into the nForma Portal at your earliest convenience and ensure your child’s medical profile is complete, accurate and up to date. We ask that this is completed by the commencement of Term 4.

School Hats

As per our Sun Smart Policy, children are required to wear either the school legionnaire’s hat or a bucket hat (both Anti-Cancer Council-approved) whenever they are outside from mid-August to the end of April.

Please ensure your child has their school hat each day so that they can participate fully during their PE classes and recess breaks.

Timetable Changes

Over the last few weeks of term, timetable changes will be implemented to facilitate classroom program planning for Term 4. Pease keep track of Class Dojo and Classroom Noticeboards for information.
