Thank You for Your Feedback!
A huge thank you to all of our parents, students and staff who recently took the time to participate in our community survey. We really appreciate everyone who shared their thoughts, ideas and suggestions with us.
We have taken on board all of the feedback we received and have identified three key focus areas that we will be working through first:
- 🌧️ Games and activities for wet weather timetables – looking at ways to provide students with more engaging activities during indoor playtimes.
- 🎲 New activities for playtimes – working together with the SRC to explore and introduce new activities for students to enjoy during their breaks.
- 📚 New library books – helping to expand and refresh the selection of books available for our students to enjoy.
We are excited to get started on these projects and will keep our school community updated as things progress!
🌳 School Ground Upgrades
Many of you will now have had the opportunity to see that our Buddy Bench has been installed! This has been a fabulous initiative for our school and is already proving to be a valuable asset in encouraging our school values while supporting the emotional and social needs of our students.
We have now started the process of installinga second Buddy Bench within the Prep area. This will ensure that all students have the opportunity to benefit from this wonderful initiative while also maintaining a safe environment for our younger students.
We have also been fortunate enough to upgrade our playground bins. Once they are all installed, we think you will agree that they will make a fantastic difference to the overall look and presentation of our playgrounds.
⭐ TESS School Values Signs
New signs showcasing our school values have also been installed along the pathway towards the main entrance . These are a wonderful addition to our school grounds and help reinforce the TESS values that are such an important part of our school community:

We love seeing our school values become a visible part of our everyday environment and hope these signs provide a positive reminder to our students, families and staff as they enter our school each day.
📅 Upcoming PA Events
🦺 Working Bee
Thursday, 17 September | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Our recent Working Bees have made a huge difference to the appearance and safety of our school grounds, and we couldn't do it without the support of our wonderful volunteers. This Working Bee will focus on repairing the potholes on the oval to help create a safer space for students to enjoy during sport and play. If you're able to spare an hour or two, we'd love to have you join us. Every helping hand makes a difference!
☕ Father's Day Afternoon Tea
Friday, 4 September | 2:30 pm – 3:10 pm | School Gym
We look forward to celebrating the wonderful dads, grandfathers and father figures in our school community! Students can be signed out from their classrooms and accompany you to the Gym, where you can enjoy a coffee and donut while spending some quality time together.
Please note that students will not be permitted to consume any hot drinks due to safety concerns.
🎁 Father's Day Stall
Friday, 4 September | From 9:00 am
Students will have the opportunity to purchase a special gift for the father figure in their life.
To ensure every student has the chance to purchase a gift, we ask that purchases are limited to a maximum of two gifts per student.
Gifts will be available to purchase through Compass in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye out for those notifications. We strongly encourage families to turn on push notifications for Compass to ensure you don't miss any important information.

🌭 Footy Day Sausage Sizzle
Friday, 18 September
Celebrate Footy Day with us!
Students are encouraged to wear their favourite AFL/ Sports team colours to show their support.
More information about the sausage sizzle will be coming soon!
👕 Second-Hand Uniform Sale
- Thursday, 17 September – Before and after school

Our second-hand uniform program continues to be a popular initiative that helps families keep up with growing children while providing an affordable and sustainable option for school uniforms. If you have any uniform items that are no longer needed, we would greatly appreciate your donations. Please drop them into the school office at your convenience.
Trivia Night 🎉
Our upcoming Trivia Night is on Saturday 21st November and are excited to see members of our school community come together for an evening filled with fun, laughter, friendly competition, and some challenging trivia!
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the local businesses and supporters who have already contributed prizes and donations to help make this event a success. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you happen to own or operate a business, or if you know a business that would love to assist us with donations of any kind, please reach out to us. Your support, no matter the size or nature, will help us raise funds to put back into improving the school.
