Everyone is welcome — whether you’ve been involved for years or have never been to a P&C meeting before. Come along, find out what’s happening at the school and have your say!

🌟 AGM is Coming Up – Now’s the Time to Get Involved!

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up in November, and this year all P&C positions will become vacant.

If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to get more involved, but I’m not sure what I could actually do…” — now is the perfect time to come along and see what’s involved.

There’s more to the P&C than running stalls. Our executive team helps keep things organised, supports the school community and makes things happen behind the scenes.

So, what do the positions involve?

👋 President – Help lead the P&C, chair meetings, work closely with the school and keep everyone moving in the same direction. The President helps bring people together and make sure the P&C stays on track.

🤝 Vice President – Support the President and step in when needed, while also helping with projects, events and the general running of the P&C. A great role for someone who likes to be involved and get things moving.

📝 Secretary – The communication hub! Manage P&C emails, keep the Google Drive organised, prepare agendas and minutes, coordinate newsletter items and help keep everyone across what’s happening.

💰 Treasurer – Keep an eye on the finances, budgets and payments, working with the bookkeeper and the rest of the P&C to make sure our funds are being put to good use for the school community.

🥪 Canteen Coordinator – Support our wonderful canteen managers, liaise between the canteen, P&C and school, help with administration and timesheets, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

💡 Executive Officers – Bring your ideas, help make decisions and pitch in where needed. You don't need to know everything — just be willing to contribute, collaborate and have a go!

And of course, fundraising, stalls, events and projects are a big part of what the P&C does — from Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls to Book Week, community events, school improvements and plenty of other initiatives throughout the year. 🎪📚🌱

You don't have to do it alone. There are existing procedures, role descriptions and plenty of people who can show you the ropes. You can start by simply coming along to a meeting and seeing what it's all about.

So, if you’ve been thinking “maybe next year…”, now is the time! 🙌
