As we head into Week 9 of Term 3, here’s a summary of the exciting activities taking place at our school.

P&C Meeting Tonight – Tuesday 15 September ONLINE ONLY

Our Parents & Citizens (P&C) meeting will be held online tonight to ensure everyone can easily attend from the comfort of their own home. This meeting is a great opportunity for parents and carers to stay informed about school events, fundraising activities, and upcoming initiatives. We encourage all members of our school community to join, share ideas, and contribute to supporting our students and school programs.

Kindergarten Calmsley Hill City Farm Excursion

Our Kindergarten students headed out for their farm excursion today. They had an opportunity to learn about farm animals and the environment in a fun, hands-on setting.

Stage 2 Taronga Zoo Excursion (funded by our P&C)

Stage 2 students enjoyed a day at Taronga Zoo, exploring different animal habitats and learning about wildlife conservation. A big thank you to our P&C for their support in making this memorable excursion possible.

Train Safety Incursion (Years 3 to 6)

This week, students in Years 3 to 6 will participate in a Train Safety Workshop. The session will focus on safe practices while traveling by train and equip students with important public transport safety skills.

County Fair – Next Monday

Preparations are in full swing for the County Fair, to be held next Monday. Organised by our students, this event is an important fundraiser for end-of-year activities, including the Year 6 Formal.

Ryde Network Support Unit Community Access and Cooking Day

Students in the Ryde Network Support Unit will take part in the Community Access and Cooking Day this week. They will walk from Ryde Public School to Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, visit Coles supermarket, practice life skills, and use their ingredients for a special cooking activity. Teachers will supervise throughout, and students will be transported safely by school staff.
