Pen Pals

The students in M5 have received letters from students at a school in Hamburg, Germany. We have read the letters and each M5 student has written a letter back in German. The students have learnt to write:

The students enjoyed learning the German words for things they liked, such as Schlangen (snakes), Rosen (roses) and Autos. 

Soon we will send our letters. We are looking forward to getting more letters from our pen pals. If our pen pal trial works well, then we could expand it another year so all the Mellor classes can experience writing to pen pals.
