WINNERS, WINNERS ...Congratulations
St Francis de Sales won a special award at the 2026 Creative Arts Exhibition, held as part of Catholic Education Week. We congratulate:

We are so proud of their efforts and delighted to see them presented with the Zart Art Sculpture & 3D Art Award - Primary by the Executive Director of MACS Dr Edward Simonds at the Catholic Leadership Centre Melbourne last Sunday. The award also included a $400 prize from Zart Art to be used by the school for art products. Congratulations also to Melissa Junkeer our Visual Arts Teacher. We are delighted at the the creativity and talent of our student artists and amazing Visual Arts teacher. This was a hat trick for our school with three awards in three years!!! SENSATIONAL!!!
Harmony - We are ONE though We are MANY!!
This phrase highlights that our school is a "rich cultural tapestry". On Tuesday we celebrated our synergy with the colours of the world, exquisite traditional clothes and a big splash of orange, the colour of harmony. Harmony Day is an Australian initiative that celebrates cultural diversity, inclusiveness, and respect, with the core message that "everyone belongs". For our school, it is a significant occasion to reflect on the idea that while we are many different individuals with varied backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs, we are one united community.
The day included cooking and food tasting of Pizza, Lamingtons and a Lassi. Rotational activities included music and dance as well as a wellbeing game. In the afternoon we gathered together in the hall with the day culminating in a special celebration of dance led by Christine Sully. We were one in sync with our dance moves and radiating joy and enthusiasm as we embraced each different dance style, culture and music. It was brilliant to see a school living and breathing harmony. We pray that we can spread this spirit beyond the doors of our school and world.
Thanks to all our staff and especially our specialist teachers, Rachel, Maddison, Taryn, Melissa, Mary, Dimitri and Lulli for their organisation and planning to ensure the day was a day to remember for all involved.
PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Parent/Teacher/Student interviews will be held on Wednesday, 1st April in your child's Learning Space between 1.30 pm til 7.30 pm.
School will finish at 1.00 pm on this day for all students.
This year parent/teacher interviews will be booked through nMeet on the NParent Portal. Parents will be notified once bookings are open via email. You can then go to NPortal and access nMeet to select your child's interview time.
Each interview is allocated 15 minutes with your child's Home Group Teacher to enable you to discuss your child's progress. Your child is also asked to attend, as their goal setting will be discussed at this time.
Please note: students must be collected at 1.00 pm on this day prior to interviews as teachers will not be available for supervision.
If all appointments are booked for a teacher you wish to see, please contact that teacher directly to make an alternate time.

for Prep 2027 at St Francis de Sales
Interviews for siblings wishing to commence school at St Francis de Sales in 2027 will be completed this term.
Interviews appointments for new families have also commenced.
Word of mouth stories about our great school community is the BEST promotion.
