St Mary's Shines!

New - Regional Basketball Competition

Last week, St Mary’s was proudly represented at the Regional Basketball Competition, with our boys competing at the Shepparton Basketball Stadium and our girls playing at Visy Stadium. Both teams displayed outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the day.

The girls played with great spirit and continued to improve with each game. Considering that not many of them are regular basketball players, it was impressive to see how quickly they adapted and transferred their netball skills to the basketball court. Their hard work paid off as they came away with one win out of their three games a fantastic achievement!

The boys, on the other hand, had quite a few experienced basketballers in their team. They worked brilliantly together, demonstrating how effective great teamwork can be. Their effort and skill were rewarded with two wins out of their four games, showcasing their talent and commitment.

A huge well done to all our players for their energy, sportsmanship, and the way they represented St Mary’s with pride both on and off the court!
