Wiradjuri Cultural Festival
Some of our Year 2 students celebrated with the Bathurst community at a special event celebrating Wiradjuri culture and 50 years of NAIDOC Week. They enjoyed a smoking ceremony, an awards presentation, dancing, stalls, games, meeting and playing footy with Will Kennedy from the Sharks, and a yummy sausage sizzle.
The students are to be commended for their exceptional behaviour. We also congratulate Savannah Doran on receiving an award for Cultural Leadership and Koen Gale for receiving the Deadly Attendance award.
