Message from Bev and Kim

Max and Noah: engineers on STEM day!

We have reached the end of term, well done to all our students for their fantastic efforts in Term 1.

We have ended our term with some wonderful highlights including excursions, Gateways, STEM day and even a visit from St Kilda FC. Check out BBPS Life for details.

A big thank you to you all for the plethora of Easter donations – and a huge thank you to our busy PA bunnies for organising our annual easter raffle. Prizes will be coming home today, students have been asked to wait until they are home to open and enjoy (and share!) their winning gifts.

Well done to our school captains, who delivered an Easter gift to the residents of Hamble Court on the school’s behalf.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate our wonderful teachers. Every day they show dedication, bring care and professionalism, going above and beyond to create classrooms where students feel safe, supported and challenged to do their best. The poster included in this newsletter captures some of their own reflections on the classroom communities they strive to build—spaces grounded in respect, connection and high expectations. Term 1 is about transition and setting up learning communities for success. Thanks for trusting (and backing) us as we established our routines, knowing that for some students it takes time.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a committed and passionate team supporting our students – thank you to our teachers and support staff for all they do.

It is with great excitement that we congratulate Megan Craig, who is expecting her second child in term 3. We love BBPS baby news!

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday, and look forward to seeing you all return in Term 2, on Monday 20th April.
