Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
A warm welcome back to all our students, staff and families as we begin another busy and productive term. We hope you had a restful break and enjoyed some special time with family and friends.
It has been a wonderful start to Term 3, with a great sense of energy and excitement around the school. Students returned eager to reconnect with their friends and share stories from their holidays. It’s been fantastic to see everyone settling back into their learning routines so smoothly with the support of our dedicated staff.
Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support, dedication and partnership. Let’s continue to work together to make Term 3 a brilliant and memorable term for every member of our school community.
Semester 1 - Three Way Learning Conferences
Our term concluded with our Semester One 'Three Way Learning Conferences' and once again it was great to witness such a fantastic response from our parent body in regards to attending these important learning conversations. It clearly demonstrates what a caring school community we have here at St Joseph’s with parents/carers and staff taking such an interest in how they can support each other to assist in the ongoing development and education of their children and the students of our school.
NAPLAN 2026
Last week, students in Years 3 and 5 received their NAPLAN reports. The report presents your child’s achievement against the national average for their year level. Their results reflect their hard work and dedication, and we are incredibly proud of how well they performed across the assessments.
100 Days of Kindergarten
Today we are celebrating a significant milestone at St Joseph's. Our Kindergarten students have officially reached their first 100 days of school! We are incredibly proud of how much our youngest learners have grown, learned and adapted to school life since their very first day. To mark this special occasion, our Kindergarten students have arrived at school all dressed up for an exciting day, which included a very special trip into the city to go tenpin bowling.
A huge thank you to Mrs McManus for organising all of the activities and coordinating this memorable day for the children. Congratulations, Kindergarten, on being 100 days smarter, kinder, stronger, braver and brighter! You all look great in your fabulous shirts!
May God bless you and your family.
