BOOK WEEK
Book week starts next week, Monday 24 August finishing with The Book Parade on Friday 28 August.
Guess the Book – Song Challenge
During Book Week, the songs played throughout the day are connected to different book titles.
Students can listen to the songs and identify the book they are linked to. Examples:
- Song title: Arabian Nights – Book title: Aladdin
- Song title: I Am the Grinch – Book title : The Grinch
The student/ teacher/ ES who identifies the most book titles correctly will be announced at the Book Parade on Friday.
Guess the Book – Emoji Challenge
A Guess the Book Title using the Emoji clues activity will be available in the Library during Book Week.
An entry box for both competitions will be in the library.
BOOK FAIR
Our Book Fair will run from Monday 24 August to Friday 11 September.
Please encourage your students to come and have a look. There will be heaps of great books, plus games and activity packs available to buy.
We'll also be open during Teacher–Student–Parent Interviews on Thursday 10 September, so families can pop in for a browse while they're at school.
