 Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)

Immerse yourself in real-world learning that develops the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to become a contemporary occupational therapist.  Occupational therapists see beyond a diagnosis or disability.  They understand how people, their environments and the activities that matter most come together to shape everyday life.

Commencing in 2027, the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) is a 4-year undergraduate professional-entry degree that will prepare students to become an occupational therapist who work in partnership with individuals, families and communities to enable participation in everyday life.

At RMIT students will develop this way of thinking through authentic real-world learning, human-centred design, technology and innovation.  Working alongside people, communities and industry partners, students will build the knowledge, professional reasoning and practical skills to create evidence-informed solutions across health, disability, education and community settings. 

With embedded Honours, interdisciplinary learning and real-world learning opportunities, students will graduate ready to lead, innovate and contribute to the future of occupational therapy.
