From your Pathways Team

There’s more than one way to get to where you want to be!
Alternative pathways aren’t just for students who miss out on their ATAR.
They can be useful in a range of situations where going straight into your preferred course isn’t the best option.
Some students might not meet the entry requirements for a degree, or may not have completed a prerequisite subject like chemistry or math methods. In these cases, a bridging course or a related degree can help students meet those requirements over time.
Some students also change their mind about what they want to study after finishing school. Taking a different pathway first can give some time for students to figure out what they actually enjoy before committing to a specific degree.
There are also students who choose an alternative pathway on purpose. Starting with a foundation program, TAFE course, or a different degree can make the transition into university feel more manageable.
Come and talk to the Pathways Team about alternative pathways!
