Respectful Relationships

As part of the Wellbeing Curriculum implemented across Sandhurst Schools each fortnight we will share topics being covered in the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program.

Preps

Grade Preps lessons have been based around ‘Celebrating our unique diversity.’

Grade 1 & Grade 2

Grade Ones and Twos have been focusing on ‘Help Seeking’, particularly, who we can go to for help and how we can seek help.

Grades 3/4 

In Respectful Relationships, students identify situations in which people learn through copying what they see others do. They identify examples of behaviours that are influenced by expectations relating to gender and identify gendered types that are commonly found within children’s media. 

Grade 5 and Grades 6

In Respectful Relationships, The 5/6’s have been looking at ‘help seeking’ and identifying times when we need to seek help during problems, and who to turn to.
