CELEBRATING OUR DADS!
It’s been another busy fortnight for the PFA celebrating the wonderful dads and special men in our school community!
Last week, we held our annual Father’s Day Stall and we hope all the children enjoyed choosing special gifts.
A big congratulations to our two raffle Hamper winners - Justin and Desmond.
A huge thank you to Erica Madgin and Melanie Harper for organising the stall, and to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make the day such a success. We truly appreciate your time and support!
We finished the week by hosting refreshments for our dads following their special session of activities with their children. It was fantastic to see so many dads connecting, catching up and enjoying time together. We hope you enjoyed our spread!
Another big thank you to our organiser Melanie Harper and helpers, Asanka, Stephanie, Lina, Geraldine, Hannah and baby Hudson and to Zereena for making the take home chocolate treats. This event was made possible thanks to the generous food donations from the wonderful members of our PFA Committee. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support.
We also recently purchased some new and exciting sports equipment with funds raised from our very successful chocolate fundraiser! It was great to see the kids and dads using some of this new sports equipment during the Father’s Day activities. Together we are making a difference for our kids and school community!

UPCOMING EVENTS
UNIFORM SHOP
Our Second Hand Uniform Shop will be open this Friday. This is a great opportunity to stock up on summer uniform items ahead of Term 4.
The PFA welcomes donations of used uniform items but requests that clothes donated are in good condition and items are from the school approved uniform supplier (instead of generic items from Kmart/Target). All donations should be given to the uniform shop directly or coordinated with Janina.
Uniform shop details are included in the school newsletter and shared in class WhatsApp groups.
If you plan to visit the shop, please park at Springvale Rd entrance and ensure you sign in as a parent visitor at the office. Cash and card facilities are available. Unfortunately, there are no exchanges or refunds on purchases.

SCHOOL DISCO
Our school disco is on this Friday! Thanks to the families that purchased tickets for their child/children. We hope the night will be an exciting one for our kids filled with music, dancing and fun! 🎶✨
Please read the following information for details about the night.
SESSION TIMES
Prep–Grade 2: 5:30–6:45 pm Grade 3–Grade 6: 7:00–8:30 pm
LOCATION: School Library ✨ Glow items will be provided on entry.
DROP-OFF
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your child’s session.
- Enter the school and wait on the basketball courts until check in staff are ready for you.
- The sign-in table is located outside Alyce’s Office.
- An adult must bring each child into the School Library foyer.
- Children must be signed in before entering the disco.
PICK-UP
- Please arrive promptly at the end of your child’s session.
- Enter the school and wait on the basketball courts.
- Collect your child from the doors closest to the 1/2 classrooms.
- Children will only be released when a parent or guardian is sighted by staff.
PARENT INFORMATION
- This is a drop-off-only event.
- Parents and guardians may not remain inside the disco
- The Staff Room will be available as a parent waiting area
- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
SUPERVISION & SAFETY
- The disco is hosted and run by the PFA outside normal school hours.
- Students will be supervised by parent volunteers.
- School staff will not supervise the disco but will be onsite as an escalation point if required.
- All volunteers will have a current Working with Children Check.
- PFA committee members will escort children to and from the toilets.
- A trained first-aid and allergy support person will be present during both sessions.
- School policies regarding student and parent behaviour continue to apply.
- Parents may be contacted if required.
MEDICAL REMINDERS
- Children must bring any medication or medical devices they may need.
- Asthma puffers and other devices required to manage medical conditions must be brought by the student, where applicable.
- Please ensure your child has everything required for the full session.
PLEASE NOTE
The disco will include:
- Loud music
- Flashing lights - A busy, energetic environment
Please consider whether this environment is suitable for your child.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permitted inside the disco.
- External food and drinks are not permitted.
- Children may bring a clearly labelled drink bottle.
- Please label all clothing and personal items.
KEY REMINDERS
