St Brendan’s Swimming Trials

On Wednesday 14th Feb, St Brendan’s will be holding swimming trials at Pines Forest Aquatic Centre, Forest Drive, Frankston North. The swimming trials are for students in Years 3-6 who would like to try out for the Bayside District Swimming Trials. 

All students who can swim 50m continuously are invited to attend.

The events students can try out for are:

• 50m Freestyle
• 50m Backstroke
• 50m Breaststroke
• 50m Butterfly

If we have enough competitors, there will be an option for…

• 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay 
• 4 x 50m IM Relay 

Date:  Wednesday 14th February, 2023

Place: Pines Forest Aquatic Centre

Time:  3.45 pm - 4.45 pm

Cost: Payment at the gate, please let the centre know you are with St Brendan’s.

Parents are required to drive their child to the trials and stay with them. They are to bring towels, goggles, hats and sunscreen.

Please email thaddock@sbsomerville.catholic.edu.au to confirm your child’s attendance at the trials. 

If your child qualifies the District Swimming will be held on Wednesday 28th of February at YAWA Aquatic Centre in Rosebud. Parents/Guardians will also be asked to take their child to this event. Thanks for your support. 

Please note that Year 5/6 students will be at camp and may choose not to attend. It is completely up to you and your child. We apologise for the scheduling inconvenience. Unfortunately, we cannot make adjustments to the District Sports timetabling. Thanks for your understanding.
