Introducing Saver Plus, a free financial education and savings program funded by Department of Social Services, that supports families during these important School transitions. 

Families who join the program receive:

-Up to $500 in matched savings to help cover educational costs such as Laptops, uniforms, books, school camps, technology, and more.

-Practical money management skills through fun and engaging online workshops.

-Ongoing support from Saver Plus saving coach throughout their savings journey.

Family Nature Day at Deep Creek - Sunday 12 April, 1pm - 4pm

Come along to a family-friendly picnic on the banks of Deep Creek at Doggetts Bridge in Lancefield.This is an opportunity to learn about the way the creek feeds the local ecosystem and provides essential habitat and water for native species. 

What's on offer:

• Document what you see and in an artist-led nature journaling session, take a walk with a pole camera to see gliders sleeping in their nest boxes and discover some of the weird and wonderful small critters that live in the creek.
• Guest artist Liz Dalgleish will be running a nature journaling session, leading participants to document their findings and experiences in nature through words and images. No experience or artistic ability is required and all materials will be supplied.
• Bring a picnic blanket and some lunch or snacks and enjoy a relaxed afternoon creekside, mixing art with education and simply enjoying nature.

This event is part of the Deep Creek Biolink project, delivered by Biolinks Alliance in partnership with Upper Deep Creek Landcare Network and Macedon Ranges Shire Council, with funding from Melbourne Water.
