House Cross Country 

St Simon the Apostle House Cross Country Results

What a fantastic day we had at our annual House Cross Country! It was wonderful to see so many students from across the school weaving their way through the snake-like course , showing determination, and cheering on their teammates.

All runners should be incredibly proud of the way they challenged themselves to get to the finish line. The encouragement from students and staff created a positive and energetic atmosphere, making the day a great success.

Below are the results from the day, a very close finish where every point counted from our students crossing the finish line:

1st place : Green House - 1140 points  “CHAMPIONS!”

2nd place : Red House - 1138 points

3rd place : Yellow House - 989 points

4th place : Blue House - 816 points

Congratulations to all students in GREEN House — a tremendous team effort and upsetting a 4 year run with Red house winning the House Cross Country!

St Simon Cross Country team

Times taken from our Year 3-6 races will be used in conjunction with performance and times collated in the Physical Education program to select our St Simon Cross Country team as well as other performance sources such as previous Interschool Sport experiences. Selection is based on age group as listed below with the fastest times (not their placing at the House Cross Country)

9-10 yr old team - selected from Year 3, Year 4 and younger Year 5 students

11 yr old team - selected from Year 5, yonder Year 6 students and potentially Year 4 students

12 yr old team - selected from Year 4 to Year 6 students
