Student of the Week

P.E. - Phoenix 3A - (Be a Learner) for being a positive and motivated learner in P.E., especially during bat tennis activities. Your effort, resilience, and sportsmanship shine in every lesson.

Visual Arts - Bill 6C (Be Respectful) Bill  was engaged and interested in our photography composition lesson.   He was  respectful with his iPad usage and focused on the task. He produced some fantastic photos with a great eye for detail!   Well done  and congratulations Bill! 

Performing Arts - Khoi 1B (Be a learner) for displaying effort and enthusiasm during Performing Arts. It is great to watch you share your ideas during class discussion and inspire your peers to build their own characters in Drama. Well done, Khoi!

Chinese - Kim has shown growing resilience in her Chinese learning, approaching challenges with a positive attitude and steady determination. She consistently shows initiative by checking in to strengthen her understanding and is beginning to share her ideas with increasing confidence.

 

6A - Kengsyor (Be a Learner)  Kengsyor has been working efficiently in class, showing respect to his teachers and peers, and taking responsibility for his learning. He has been asking thoughtful questions to clarify his understanding and consistently trying to complete the best work he can. Well done Kengsyor, keep it up!

6B - Ziah  (Be a Learner) for consistently applying himself in all areas of his learning. You started the year with a great attitude. Well done!

6C - Bosilija for being an upstander, supporting others in our class, and always giving every task your very best effort. You lead by example and are a fantastic role model for everyone around you.

 

5A - Will (Be Respectful) for consistently showing respect to his teachers and peers at all times. Will listens carefully, speaks kindly, and treats others with fairness and consideration. His positive behaviour helps make our classroom a safe and supportive place for everyone.  Thank you for showing these values Will.

5B - Aleyah (Be a Learner) for showing persistence and determination when learning to tell the time. She practiced continuously throughout the day and because of this, has shown success in just two lessons! Well done Aleyah!

5C - Louis  (Be a Learner) has been a focused learner this year. He has taken ownership of his own learning, as demonstrated by his eagerness to seek assistance when he is unsure during maths tasks. Keep up the great work Louis!

 

4B - Peyland  for her excellent effort in Mathematics this week. She demonstrated outstanding focus and determination while learning about time, confidently calculating elapsed time and clearly showing her thinking. Well done for embracing a challenge, Peyland! 

4C - Nhat (Be a Learner) for consistently showing effort and enthusiasm during whole class discussions. It is great to watch you share your ideas and encourage your peers to share theirs. Great work, Nhat!

 

3A - Nathan  (Be a Learner) for demonstrating resilience in his learning this week on our excursion to Lady Northcote. He gave everything a go and never gave up, even when completing very challenging activities. Well done Nathan! 

3B - Phoenix  (Be a Learner) for putting in 110% effort at the Grade 3 long excursion. You put your best foot forward and had a go at every activity. Your positive attitude and dedication was a valuable addition to our team. Keep up the fantastic work!

 

2A- Antonio  (Be a learner)  Antonio has done a great job at settling into our routines at DPW. Antonio has quickly become a positive, happy and inclusive member of our classroom. We are so excited to learn with you this year! 

 

1B - Dustie  (Be Respectful) for consistently showing integrity and respect in everything she does. She always shows that she is ready for learning by listening carefully, following instructions, and trying her best. She treats others with kindness and respect, and is a wonderful role model for her classmates. Keep up the fantastic work, Dustie!

1C - Fernanda  (Be Respectful) Fernanda showed great pride, determination and  focus while developing her narrative in writing this week. Keep up the great work Fernanda!

 

FA - Mia (Be Respectful) for always following expectations, showing responsibility, and helping keep our school a safe place.

FC - Kroy (Be safe) for keeping all of Foundation C safe by pushing in all the chairs after each session and keeping his hands and feet to himself.
